Guidelines for Research CritiqueDuring the course of the semester, you will be required to write three research article critiques. This assignment is intended to help you synthesize a cognitive developmenttopic and communicate the main points effectively. You are writing for the generalpublic. This means you must define terms and set up the reader with the necessary background material.
IT WOULD BE THREE PAPERS BASED ON THE SAME TOPIC SUCH AS EXAMPLES 1,2,3 ATTACHTED
FIRST PAPER IS DUE FEB 20
SECOND PAPER IS DUE MARCH 20
THIRD PAPER IS DUE APRIL 10
Search for an article related to the topic either on OneSearch, Google Scholar (Links to an external site.), or the PsycInfo Database linked from the Oviatt Library. Please make sure the article:
(a) is peer-reviewed (be sure to toggle or check this option in your search options)
(b) is an empirical article (i.e., original research based on observations; one clue is that it will include a Method section)
